One of Django's current limitations is that the framework lacks support for multi-column primary keys. Support for this feature is especially needed for multi-tenant databases where table schemas are often needed to be scoped by an organization_id column. A partial implementation had been started by David Cramer, and a further explanation about the various issues are detailed in this Wiki article.

We're happy to announce that very own Jeremy Tillman helped contribute a series of patches to allow multi-column keys to be included into the Django 1.6 branch!
